The British International School of Stockholm is run by a non-profit making foundation (the Borgen Foundation) and is managed by a Board of Governors that is elected to represent the interests of parents, staff and the local community.
The Board consists of between nine and twelve members and meets regularly, focusing on the broad, long-term direction of the school. It receives regular updates from School Leadership, who run the school setting strategic goals and development plans to maintain the high standards and expectations of the School. Working closely with the school’s Senior Leadership Team, the Board establishes the school’s policies and delegates the day-to-day administration and implementation of policies to the Principal.
The School Leadership Team consists of the Principal and Deputy Principal together with Team and Subject Leaders.
