Information for parents

The British International School of Stockholm is a non-profit making Foundation which provides an English medium education in an international setting to pupils aged 3 to 16. The school was established to provide an education that enables children to transfer smoothly to any English speaking school worldwide. Children of approximately 45 nationalities attend our school and are from both expatriate and internationally minded Swedish families. We are proud of our dedicated, highly qualified staff and high teacher/pupil ratio which help us provide excellent learning experiences and individual attention for all pupils.

If you are interested in applying to The British International School of Stockholm and would like to arrange a visit to the school to meet with the Leadership Team and allow us to show you around our school, please make initial contact with the School Office by completing the Enquiry Form which can be found under the Admissions Menu. If you are unable to visit the school personally, we can attend to your enquiries either by email or phone. We would, however, highly recommend that you make an appointment for a formal tour around the school at your earliest convenience after your arrival in Stockholm, even if this is after your child has started at the school.

Please be reminded that if, at any point during the application process, you have specific questions regarding the curriculum, we can arrange an appointment or phone conversation with a member of the Leadership Team.

Waiting lists exist for some year groups, so parents are encouraged to apply early to secure a place at the School.
